Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

The controller of the personal data described here is Rui Silva, Vila Nova de Gaia, 4410-325, NIF 233738037. For any privacy question or request, write to matchday@tugastudio.com.

2. Visiting this website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking, and does not load fonts or scripts from other companies. Our web server does not keep access logs. Your IP address is processed only for the moment needed to deliver the page and is not stored.

3. Buying a licence

When you buy a licence, Stripe processes the payment as an independent controller under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). We never receive your card or bank details. Stripe sends us:

• your name and email address;
• the subscription reference, the plan (Lite or Pro), the status and the renewal or end dates.

We use this data to provide and manage your licence (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of a contract).

4. Licence checks from your forum

When the licence key is saved and once a day, the MatchDay add-on on your forum sends our server the licence key, the forum's domain name and the add-on version. We also record the IP address of the forum's server and the time of the check. We use this to validate licences and prevent misuse (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in protecting our software).

The add-on never sends us any data about your forum's members, their predictions or their activity.

5. Support emails

If you write to us, we use your email address and the content of your message to answer you and, if relevant, to manage your licence (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Who receives the data

• Stripe, merchant of record for payments, as an independent controller.
• Hostinger International Ltd, our hosting provider, as a processor. Our server is located in the United Kingdom, which benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
• Our email provider, as a processor, for support messages.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

7. How long we keep it

• Licence and customer data: while the licence is active and for 3 years after it ends, to handle renewals, refunds and any claims, unless you ask us to delete it earlier and no legal obligation prevents it.
• Technical records of payment notifications: 12 months.
• Support emails: 3 years after the last message.
• Server backups: 30 days.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise these rights, write to matchday@tugastudio.com; we will reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt), or with the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

9. For forum administrators

The MatchDay add-on stores your members' predictions, points and alerts in your own forum's database. For that data, you are the controller and we have no access to it. Remember to mention the prediction game in your forum's own privacy policy.

We will update this policy when our processing changes and show the date of the last update below.
